About us
We are an association founded by friends who believe that small, equal contributions can create a powerful impact when united, making philanthropy accessible to everyone.
Our members are international, living mostly in Switzerland, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and other European countries. We focus mainly on less wealthy regions of Europe but also donate worldwide whenever we can ensure a safe donation.
We aim to support small, committed organizations that provide direct help, often sustained through personal financial and time sacrifices, and that cannot rely on state, church, or major sponsor support.

December 2023 – Foundation
January 2024 – First donation and launch of online presence
June 2024 – Start of registration process
October 2024 – Provisional registration in Spain
November 2024 – Member meeting in Athens
December 2024 – Highest donation of the year, 25 members
January 2025 – Official registration confirmed in Spain
August 2025 – 20th donation, reaching 50 members

ASOCIACIÓN ALTPHILAS is a legally constituted non-profit association registered in Spain’s National Registry of Associations under National Number 630049.
Under Spanish Corporate Tax Law (Ley 27/2014 del Impuesto sobre Sociedades), our association automatically enjoys partially exempt tax status by operation of law. All revenue generated strictly from membership fees, grants, and non-commercial donations dedicated to our core mission is automatically exempt from corporate tax. Because this exemption is granted directly by statutory law, the Spanish Tax Agency (Agencia Tributaria) does not issue individual tax exemption certificates to standard associations.
